La Rinascita Della Materia: il nostro FuoriSalone 2019

La seconda settimana di Aprile le strade del capoluogo lombardo saranno animate da numerosi eventi in nome della manifestazione più importante per il mondo dell’arredo e del design: il FuoriSalone2019 e Contrada Erasmo non poteva certamente mancare.
Tavoli, complementi, lampade e arredi, nati dall’inusuale recupero di materiali, saranno al centro della nostra esposizione e del racconto di un progetto voluto da Erasmo Figini, designer di prodotti e d’interni, in una location atipica, dove il design e il buon vino s’incontreranno.
Signorvino si è presentato da subito come la location perfetta, i loro principi sposavano i progetti di Contrada Erasmo, che da sempre si è dedicata al recupero e al rivestimento di botti di vino, permettendo al pregiato legno di rovere di assumere altre identità.
Il legno di barrique trattiene le infinite sfumature e tonalità del vino impresse dal tempo, regalando caratteristici profumi, come note di vaniglia, spezie o affumicatura.
All’interno del Wine Shop Signorvino, Contrada Erasmo esporrà le sue creazioni come testimonianza delle infinite possibilità di utilizzo della materia. Architetti e interior designer potranno scegliere i materiali per farsi realizzare qualsiasi complemento d’arredo, su proprio disegno.
In esposizione i prodotti più richiesti e maggiormente in linea con il percorso intrapreso da Contrada Erasmo; il tavolo Davide, nato dalla trasformazione di vecchie doghe di barrique in listelli di varie dimensioni e ricomposte a mano geometricamente, la lampada Dafne: abat-jour caratterizzata dalla goccia centrale diamantata realizzata a mano in vetro di Murano fumé e specchiato, infine, il tavolino Clara di forma trapezoidale in rovere di barrique, bruciato e tinto di nero, con le finiture in bronzo. L’accostamento tra materiali e finiture differenti impreziosisce il tavolino, rendendolo un oggetto unico e straordinario.

Our FuoriSalone 2019 – “Rebirth of Materials”

Every day, from April 8th to 14th, the lively streets and alleys of Milan will fill up with hundreds of events for the most important exhibition in the world of furniture and design – Salone and Fuorisalone – and Contrada Erasmo should certainly not be missed.
Design furnishings born from the creative recovery of waste materials will be the main theme of our exhibition. A project by Erasmo Figini, product and interior designer, in an unusual location, where design and good wine meet.
Two old friends, wine and wood, finally meet after a long journey that saw them meeting for the first time the day of the harvest, kept them together for years, and finally turned them into something new. From Erasmo’s idea of giving new life and purpose to old barriques destined to waste, combined with the company’s strong social commitment, Contrada Erasmo is born and it found in Signorvino the perfect partner.
At Signorvino Wine Shop, Contrada Erasmo will exhibit its creations – a collection of tables, accessories and lighting – as examples of the infinite possibilities of application of the proposed crafted and creative materials. Among them, we find the beautiful reclaimed oak from wine barrels previously used in winemaking processes: barrique strong, rich and fragrant wood made unique by the endless hues and nuances impressed on barrel staves by grape wines as they age in the barrels.
The products displayed offer an overview of the style, materials and elegance that characterizes the path undertaken by Contrada Erasmo. Among them, “Davide” dining table born from a painstaking artisanal process of transformation of old barrique staves into strips of different dimensions then reassembled by hand into geometric patterns; the elegant table lamp “Dafne” distinguished by a handcrafted irregular diamond-shape glass sculpture and, finally, the trapezoidal shape coffee table “Clara”, in barrique oak and handcrafted gesso and bronze.
Luca Pizzighella, Sales Director of Signorvino states: “For Signorvino, this is a new and strongly desired collaboration, and the fact that many of Contrada’s creations take shape from the reuse of barriques previously used in winemaking processes has made our partnership even more interesting”.
